Book Your Notary Appointment

Scheduling with Olympia Notary is simple, friendly, and straightforward. Whether you need a mobile notary, an in-person appointment, remote online notarization, loan signing support, or help with documents that may need apostille processing, we’ll guide you through the appointment step by step.

What to Expect

During your appointment, we will verify your identity, review the document type, confirm that all required signers are present, and complete the notarial act according to Washington State notary requirements.

Please do not sign your document before the appointment unless you have been specifically instructed to do so. In most cases, the document must be signed in front of the notary. Wait until the notary tells you when and where to sign.

We cannot give legal advice or tell you which document you need, but we can help make the notarization process clear, organized, and easy to understand.

What to Bring

For most appointments, please have the following ready:

  • A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for each signer

  • The document that needs to be notarized

  • All pages of the document, even pages that do not require signatures

  • Any required witnesses, if your document calls for them

  • Payment for your appointment

  • We will communicate with you to meet in a quiet, safe place to review and sign the document

Acceptable ID often includes a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, military ID, or other government-issued photo identification.

Important Signing Reminder

Do not sign anything ahead of time unless you were clearly told to do so. Many notarizations require the notary to witness the signature. Signing too early may mean the document cannot be notarized as-is and may need to be reprinted or corrected.

Remote Online Notary Appointments

For online notarization, please make sure you have a working camera, microphone, stable internet connection, access to your email, and your valid photo ID. You may also need to upload your document before the appointment so it can be reviewed and prepared.

Before You Book

Please make sure your document is complete and ready for review. Blank spaces, missing pages, absent signers, or missing witnesses can delay the appointment.

If you are unsure what type of notarization you need, that’s okay. Book your appointment with the information you have, and we’ll help you understand the next steps.
